Mark Ridley's Comedy Castle tickets & upcoming events

Looking for a comedy joint that’s got history and a vibe that just hits right? Mark Ridley's Comedy Castle in Royal Oak, Michigan, is one of those places where you go to see comedians who’ve been on TV, but also discover new faces that might just be the next big thing. It’s a cozy spot that’s been around since the 1970s, and trust me, the energy is contagious. One of the coolest things about the Castle is how it’s constantly evolving. Like in 2012, they kicked off a narrative comedy night, picture comedians improvising stories that keep you laughing and guessing. And I swear, some of the best moments happen right in the front row; I’ve seen fans get hit with a punchline so quick it leaves everyone stunned. VIP seats often come with snacks or drinks, making the whole experience even more memorable. If you’re coming from the Detroit Science Center, just head north along Woodward to Fourteen Mile Road, easy peasy. Whether you’re a die-hard comedy fan or just looking for a fun night out, this place has a little something for everyone, and honestly, some nights you might just leave thinking ‘That was worth every penny!'
